Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess (PSN Mini) Review
Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess (PSN Mini) Review
Monsters (Probably) stole my princess is a fun and addicting mini from the PSN for $6:95 (AUS.) You'll probably finish the story mode in 10-20 minutes depending on your skill level and leave you wondering if you've wasted your money, well the answer is no.
The story in the game is simple but fun and comedic, you are the Duke and monsters (probably) stole your princess and your after them to get her back. The story is elevated buy unlocking extras in your scrap back and hint if your get a gold medal on all the story missions your in for an extra piece of fun.
The game play is simple, jump up ledges and try not to land on the same ledge twice, or you'll break your combo. Double jumping and hitting a monster will destroy one of its lives, hit it three times to win.
The game looks good, with simple but stylish backdrops and cool looking monsters. None of the monsters look or act the same giving the levels some variety. The music is simple but can get annoying if your trying for a high score and your hearing the same tune start over and over, also the Dukes laugh is constantly heckling at you and gets on your nerves, although the game does tell you laughing like that to yourself will increase your game play skill.
Monsters (probably) stole my Princess is a fun, easy, addicting and simply enjoyable mini. The price seems a dollar or so a bit high, but you'll get your moneys worth if you try to get get all the gold medals.
