Iron Man 2 [Blu-ray]Iron Man Review by Dylan
Iron Man 2 follows up the original movie with Tony Stark (Robert Downey .Jr) dealing with the government trying to get his hands on his suit, as well as an enemy in Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) and Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke) plus his mid death criss.
The acting all round is pretty good, Downey returns in same form to play Stark, Rourke does a good stereotypical Russian, Rockwell is good as Hammer. The new members are Don Cheadle as James Rhodey replacing Terrence Howard, who does an average pickup for Howard, trying to pick up the pieces Howard left. Scarlett Johanson plays Natalie Rushman and does a good job in the part, giving herself a new image.
The visual effects all round is what you'd expect for this movie and the music rock n roll for matching tones with all the explosions. The cinematography and editing is all round average.
Iron Man 2 is really and average movie but for comic book fans the set up for The Avengers is juicy and my favorite part of the whole movie. One problem is the length and ending, the movie sags a lot in the middle and the movie should be 30 mins shorter than what it is, the ending is annoying and give hope for a third Iron Man movie before the Avengers which is just a waste and could possible be a horrible mistake.
Id suggest going and seeing this if you were a fan of the first, if not wait and pick up the dvd.
