Kick-Ass Blu-Ray (One Disc) Review

Kick-Ass Blu-ray (One Disc) Review

Kick-Ass is actually a pretty good package on blu-ray, you'd expect some good features with a comic book film, especially this one and you're not let down.

The Blu-ray is presented with Kick-Ass himself on the front cover, it's a pretty simply cover but one that works, it sticks out and grabs you're attention. The film it's self looks good in HD very good colors, pity the menu let me down. The menu screen is very annoying, it looks like a options screen on a TV and plays out like that.

The special features are all very good and i wasn't let down, with a feature nearly as long as the film it's self if you haven't got you're Kick-ass fix after that i can suggest only one thing, the commentary. The features covers everything from the films start in production to comi-con, special effects, editing and music. It's all good to watch and it thats not enough the commentary with director Mathew Vaughn will fill you're Kick-Ass metre. For fans of the comic book or people interested in the origin of the film theres a twenty minute feature with the original comics creators Mark Miller and John Romita. They talk about the comic, film and Mark Miller even gives out a little information on the future of Kick-Ass.

Kick-Ass is a cool package to have in you're collection, the features are interesting and cover a wide range of topics and the Blu-ray looks sleek on you're shelf, deffiently pick this one up if you're a fan of the movie.
